Record is the screen of one Cliniko appointment: consent, recording, dictation and upload. “Record session” = with the patient (needs consent). “Dictate” = you alone, before or after.

Consent is kept for the clinic, not for one practitioner: if Ellie gets a yes, Tomasz doesn’t ask again (to confirm with you).

The consent script is the one in today’s app, word for word.

A “No” stands until the patient changes their mind: the question doesn’t come back at the next visit. “Patient changed their mind” asks it again.

Under 18, the name of the parent or guardian who answers is kept with the consent. At 18, a parent’s answer (yes or no) no longer applies and the patient is asked directly. A withdrawal stands like a “No”, until the patient changes their mind.
